Therapy for Teens and Adults Navigating Depression, Anxiety, and Life Transitions
I specialize in providing therapy for teenagers and adults who are facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, grief, psychosis, changes in mood that may arise from bipolar disorder, insomnia, and major life transitions. Many of the individuals I work with are struggling to manage difficult emotions, navigate relationship stress, or adjust to recent changes—whether planned or unexpected.
I also work with clients who are experiencing new or unfamiliar mental health symptoms, and are unsure how to cope or make sense of them. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck, I’m here to support you with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care.
Managing Anxiety, Depression Mood Shifts: Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Life Goals to help adults and teenagers understand, address, manage and cope with your symptoms that may stem from anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.
Improving Sleep: I offer specialized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i) to help adults achieve restorative sleep.
Psychosis: Whether you are someone who is having early experiences or years of experiences with psychosis I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address cognitive and behavioral struggles you may have. Using CBT we will address and help you cope and understand your symptoms.
Together, we’ll identify your therapy goals and develop a personalized plan for healing, growth, and resilience.
Bilingual Counseling – Therapy in Spanish and English
As a bilingual psychologist, I provide culturally sensitive therapy in both Spanish and English. I have extensive experience working in diverse clinical settings—including hospitals, medical clinics, university counseling centers, and community mental health agencies—with teens and adults from a wide range of backgrounds.
What to Expect in Our Work Together
In our initial sessions, we’ll focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship and understanding what you’re going through. From there, we’ll collaborate on a treatment plan that fits your goals and preferences. We can meet weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs.
My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to explore, grow, and move forward. Whether you’re dealing with mood concerns, relationship issues, or adjustment stress, I’m here to help you build the tools and confidence to create a more fulfilling life.
If you’re ready to get started, I always offer a 15-minute consultation to ensure we are a good fit. I’d love to help you or a member of your family get the help they need to live a more fulfilling life.

Life Outside Of Work
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Luna. I love staying active and spending time outdoors—especially hiking in the beautiful mountains of Northern California. I’m also a passionate runner and have completed two half marathons. In my free time, I enjoy discovering new restaurants in Houston and attending local sporting events with friends.
