Areas Of Focus

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist offering individual therapy for adults, with specialized expertise in infertility, postpartum and maternal mental health, anxiety, depression, and grief. With over 16 years in private practice, I work primarily with women navigating some of the most isolating and emotionally complex experiences of their lives. If you are struggling with infertility, pregnancy loss, or the transition to motherhood, and feel like no one around you truly understands what you are going through, I can help.

Infertility & Pregnancy Loss

Infertility and pregnancy loss involve a unique kind of grief — the loss of what you thought your life would look like. Many women move through this quietly, unsure how to share what they are feeling or finding that even well-meaning people fall short of truly understanding. My path to this work was shaped in part by watching a close family member navigate multiple rounds of fertility treatment and miscarriage, often alone in her experience. That shaped how I think about this work and why I feel so committed to it. In our work together, we create space for that grief while also helping you develop coping strategies for anxiety and uncertainty, navigate medical treatments and decision-making, strengthen relationships during a stressful time, and reconnect with a sense of self and control.

Postpartum & Maternal Mental Health

The transition to motherhood can be beautiful and brutally hard at the same time. Whether you are struggling with postpartum anxiety, depression, or simply the identity shift that comes with becoming a mother, I provide a space where you can be honest about all of it. I am a member of Postpartum Support International and have pursued ongoing continuing education in maternal mental health throughout my career.

Anxiety, Depression & Grief

Grief has been a central part of my own life. I lost my mother at a young age, and that experience gave me a personal understanding of grief that goes beyond the clinical. It is part of why I feel so at home sitting with clients in that space. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, and loss of all kinds, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build concrete coping strategies alongside a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship.

If you’re ready to get started, I always offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. I’d love to help you get the support you need to start feeling better today.

I am a mom of three and understand firsthand the challenges of balancing family, work, and personal well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with friends.

More About Ashley:

Dr. Roseman’s postdoctoral training spanned some of Houston’s most respected medical institutions, including work on a randomized clinical trial focused on smoking cessation in pregnant and depressed populations at MD Anderson, clinical research on generalized anxiety disorder in older adults at Baylor’s Menninger Department, and individual psychotherapy with OIF/OEF veterans at the DeBakey VA. Her pre-doctoral internship at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System included rotations in behavioral medicine, a PTSD clinical team, and a general mental health clinic. She also has extensive experience providing psychological and developmental assessments within a pediatric neuropsychological assessment center, and her research background includes peer-reviewed publications and national conference presentations in areas ranging from late-life anxiety to intimate partner violence and PTSD.

Grief has also been a central part of Dr. Roseman’s own life. She lost her mother at a young age, and that experience gave her a real and personal understanding of grief, not just a clinical one. It is part of why she feels so at home sitting with clients in that space. Infertility often carries its own particular kind of grief, mourning the path you thought your life would take, the family you imagined, the timeline you had planned. Dr. Roseman does not shy away from holding that loss with her clients.

In addition to her therapy practice, Dr. Roseman has extensive experience providing psychological and developmental assessments within a pediatric neuropsychological assessment center. Her research background includes several peer-reviewed publications and national conference presentations in areas ranging from late-life anxiety to intimate partner violence and PTSD. Dr. Roseman’s decision to join the Coping Resource Center came out of a desire for more opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and a strong dedication to delivering high quality evidence-based care.Â
